AMEA’s 11 Member cities actively support economic and community development throughout their communities, as well as efforts to improve the quality of life and promote vibrant, active, economically stable communities.
AMEA’s Economic Development Program works with our Members to enhance existing industries and bring in new industry.
We provide no-interest loans through the Capital Fund Program, with grants available to assist special economic development projects and events. AMEA supports statewide recruiting events and continues to build relationships with other utilities and groups to provide opportunities for AMEA Members and the state.
