Each year, AMEA awards scholarships to the top four graduating high school seniors in each city served by an AMEA Member electric utility.

To be eligible for an AMEA scholarship, a student’s parent and/or legal guardian must receive electric service from an AMEA Member utility, and the student must attend a four-year college/university, community college, and/or vocational/trade school within the state of Alabama.

The 2018 AMEA Scholarship Program is now underway. Scholarship application deadline is Monday, Feb. 12, 2018. To complete an online fillable form, please click on the link below. NOTE: In order to submit the application to AMEA, it must be printed and signed by the applicant and parent and/or legal guardian.
